Rooted is seeking candidates to fill two (2) part-time or one (1) full-time AmeriCorps Farm to School Specialist positions with the Farm to School Program. Each position is a 12-month appointment with an average of approximately 20 hours/week for part-time or 40 hours/ week for full-time. The position will begin on August 15, 2021 and end August 14, 2022. Members will be under contract with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction’s state-wide Farm to School AmeriCorps program and will be under direct supervision of Rooted staff to continue and expand upon existing farm to school programming in Madison Metropolitan School District.
The Development Director is responsible for securing the resources to sustain our mission. This position develops, manages, and implements the fundraising plan through various channels. The Development Director also cultivates individual donor relationships in collaboration with organizational strategy.
